Sunday is Kid’s Day at the Ramona Rodeo!
Kid’s Day Info:
The final rodeo performance takes place Sunday, May 20.
Gates open at noon for the 2:30 p.m. show.
“At noon, prior to the actual rodeo performance, we will open up the arena so that all the children get some hands-on rodeo opportunities,” says Roberts.
“I will have hundreds of ropes donated by local cowboys that the kids can play with and take home, as well as back (contestant) numbers, neckerchiefs and Cowboy hats to the first 100+ kids through the gates. We’ll have broomstick barrel racing, dummy roping and pony rides.”
Roberts adds that the rodeo queens, bull riders and rodeo clowns will all be on hand to sign autographs, and face painters will be painting the kids to match their favorite clowns.
So bring your kids and plan to have some good fun!
